Pentecostal Church Of Jesus Christ
Hurricane Sandy truly destroyed the community and facilities of the Pentecostal Church Of Jesus Christ, "Christ Is Coming" in Coney Island. For the last five years the Pastors, leaders and congregants were involved in restoring their temple where they have served the community for 58 years, praying and waiting that by God's grace they would be able to obtain the necessary funding, to restore the building where they could once again dedicate themselves to helping and assisting the community. The prayers of this church and those of the many donors throughout the nation that prayed for their donations to be turned into the much needed funding for the restoration of churches devastated by Hurricane Sandy came together in the throne of the almighty. By God's grace and for the glorification of His Son Jesus Christ Samaritan Purse of the Billy Graham and Franklin Graham ministries approved a grant of funding to finish the last phase of a long waited restoration, the installation of a new central HVAC system. The work is now completed to immediately make this church's facilities whole again and ready to continue to serve the Lord by serving their neighbors. Call Me First Home Improvement is honored to have been selected to make this project happen and to be part of the team that the Lord is using for his eternal purpose. The Rev. Agustin Quiles pastor of the church began the process to obtain this funding and see this work finished in the church and for the community that he served as Pastor for the last 35 years. Rev. Quiles went to be with the Lord on July 1st, 2017 without seen this work completed. We honor his work and dedication to this community and we are grateful to God for the gift that we received in the person of Rev. Agustin Quiles. Pastor Milagros Quiles his wife is presently lifting high the flag of the gospel of truth to continue his legacy and ministry in the community of Coney Island.
